ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Please read the abstract submission instructions below carefully before submitting your abstract.

Submission Guideline

  • Abstract Originality: Abstracts should describe original work.
  • Author Information: Provide the full name, affiliation, country, and email address of the corresponding author on the abstract. The first author (presenting author) will receive all future correspondence from BIOSES regarding the status of the abstract.
  • Language: Abstracts must be written in English.
  • Font: Tahoma 11 and single spacing
  • Abstract Title: The title should objectively describe the study and be written in sentence case. Capitalise each word, except articles, conjunctions or prepositions.
  • Abstract Body: The abstract body should describe the background, methods, results, and conclusions of the research. Type the abstract directly into the body, cut and paste it into the space. Do not exceed 300 words. Pictures, tables or figures are not inserted in the body.
  • Keywords: Type up to 5 keywords in the field.
  • Author Information: The abstract submitter is automatically shown as the presenter (first author). Hence, do not submit on behalf of another presenter.

Oral Presentation

The 5th BIOSES 2024 is committed to giving scientists more opportunities to present their works in many ways, including oral presentations. The applicant should check the “oral presentation” during the abstract submission to be considered an oral presentation speaker. Oral presentation speakers will be personally notified about the presentation details, including the presentation date, in advance via email.

Poster Presentation

The applicant should check the “e-poster” during the abstract submission to submit a poster. E-poster participants will be personally notified about the submission dates and link details in advance via email.

Abstract Review Process

All abstracts will be evaluated through a double-masked peer-review process. The first author/presenter will receive a notification e-mail from the BIOSES Committee regarding its decision on 1st August 2024. For the integrity of the review process, any abstract revisions will not be allowed after submission.
